About Us

Miami University first admitted women in the fall of 1902. Before the year was over, six young women would start what has become a truly amazing story of empowering women, perseverance, and achievement.

A word from ouR Chapter President,
Zapryce Johnson

On behalf of Delta Zeta, Zeta Zeta Chapter, I am Zapryce Johnson, and I am truly honored to serve as the current Chapter President of our chapter at West Texas A&M University. Delta Zeta is filled with friendship, community, generosity, curiosity, empowerment, and belonging women.

When I decided to come to WT, not knowing anyone besides a couple of hometown friends, I sought to find a place of love and support, and I quickly realized that place was Delta Zeta. These women are the most loving, encouraging, and supportive group I have ever met, constantly inspiring me to be a better person. I've gained lifelong relationships and connections here.

Delta Zeta members are also involved in other campus organizations, adding a unique dynamic to our chapter. These include Buffs for Christ, Catholic Student Center, NSSLAH, F1RSTGEN, Nursing Student Association, Panhellenic, Rogers Lead, Student Government, Spirit Squad, AND many more orgs! Our members strive to be part of something bigger than themselves.

My favorite aspect of Delta Zeta is our heart for service and our desire to make the world a better place. We thrive on giving back to the community and raising money for our philanthropies. We encourage each member to achieve 18 hours of community service per semester and aim to raise $10,000 annually for our causes. These women genuinely love giving back.

This sisterhood is something special. We encourage each other every day to do our best and stay involved in campus activities like intramurals, homecoming, Founder's Day, big/little events, socials, sisterhoods, and Greek Week. We are always together, supporting one another.

Welcome to Delta Zeta, and I hope you get the chance to discover why we proudly call this home.
